3rd Eye

As I wait for you to find,

Valor, and peace of mind.

I find my own courage true,

Waiting like I do for you.

Facing demon and lonely night,

Tears will fall in religious rite.

I made friends of enemies,

Saying prayers, while on my knees.

Dreaming of your chest I lay,

Longing comfort only you purvey.

Realizing when eyes were blurred,

That destruction happens, before the third.

Strength is gathered from all ashes,

Clarity comes in sparkling flashes.

Understanding now like I do,

That it was all meant to debut:

Our courage and straightened spine,

Self-respect, and eye-bright shine.

You give me hope and life renewed,

But also taught a new world viewed.

I don’t detest, but love you more,

Forever grateful, I do adore.

Divine Timing

A SUSTAINABLE CANDLE GUIDE TO CELEBRATE EARTH HOUR

I spoke my truth.

A war, I waged.

Defending ghosts,

From a guilded cage.

Seeker of lost cause

Lace heart made of glass.

My own sword I bled,

For naught and impasse.

Lessons learned,

Deep and profound.

Resistance will clamber,

In chaos you’ll drown.

Hind sight will show

How flipped magnets repel.

And how crazy chases

Down spiral stairwells.

Nothing happens

Until it is time.

Birth, death or love,

The Universe paradigm.

Aware

I feel you thinking of me

Unexpectedly, Regarding, Wondering

Your wandering mind…

Sitting alone, In darken spaces

Tiptoed into you mind.

I’m not entirely sure

You’re even aware

But here I sit,

By your side

Summoned to the silence of a memory

Never Forgotten

Note that many Seasons have turn,

As second hand sticks, have grown dizzy,

Stuck in time.

And now, there are lines plowed,

At the corner of Trade and Main,

They once were paved .

Those streets.

Now cracked by millions of smiles.

Also, a few tears.

We’ve both gathered flames, since last we spoke.

But somehow, those flames,

Lost their dance on the crowded plateaus.

Oh, time, that fiendish mute!

Stalking, stealing, and brands me a slave as I continue my wait.

You must have missed your train?

Maybe from the cracked streets?

Or maybe time, stole you away.

But for me, as I tell it now:

You are never forgotten.

How could you be?

Even in edges of thoughts,

Though they might have developed sepia and yellow,

I will always think of you on this day.

This is the day.

These are the memories.

And I will crack another street remembering.

Even the Fowl

I witnessed this morning

The flight and find

Of Mister Chickadee.

Fussing so tediously,

From deadened branch,

To deadened bramble.

In search of the perfect twig

To impress upon his Missus.

His find

Needed to be,

A perfect foundation.

A show of his love.

An exhibit of hard work,

Displaying what he would bring.

All in hope:

Hope, that she will be his.

And he, to be found worthy.

I wonder now, did he succeed?

Even the fowl of the air,

I realize,

Are not immune

To this trouble we named love.

Eleventh Hour

Will you answer,

When the voices cease?

Will you walk forward,

To where the crickets sleep?

And will you sigh,

When the sun sinks down?

Or catch that brief glimpse,

Of the fabled wedding hound?

For tonight is the age,

Where fine fiddles march.

To say goodbyes,

Before the tongue doth parch.

Or maybe, just maybe,

The hero will drop in guise?

To claim my last petal,

Before it wilts, withers and dies.

Neptune Watching

Double agent, in a sea of milk,

Maritime elements, and lovers bilk.

Leading passion, with the fury of gales,

While lovers levitate, in predictable farthingales.

The light of comets, flash your riddles,

While sunken treasure, nymphs tickle.

Fourteen eyes, spy over the blue,

Holding their breath, planning a coup.

In height and mystery, you swim in spades,

Oh aplomb sovereign, may you always reign.
