Aware

I feel you thinking of me

Unexpectedly, Regarding, Wondering

Your wandering mind…

Sitting alone, In darken spaces

Tiptoed into you mind.

I’m not entirely sure

You’re even aware

But here I sit,

By your side

Summoned to the silence of a memory

Never Forgotten

Note that many Seasons have turn,

As second hand sticks, have grown dizzy,

Stuck in time.

And now, there are lines plowed,

At the corner of Trade and Main,

They once were paved .

Those streets.

Now cracked by millions of smiles.

Also, a few tears.

We’ve both gathered flames, since last we spoke.

But somehow, those flames,

Lost their dance on the crowded plateaus.

Oh, time, that fiendish mute!

Stalking, stealing, and brands me a slave as I continue my wait.

You must have missed your train?

Maybe from the cracked streets?

Or maybe time, stole you away.

But for me, as I tell it now:

You are never forgotten.

How could you be?

Even in edges of thoughts,

Though they might have developed sepia and yellow,

I will always think of you on this day.

This is the day.

These are the memories.

And I will crack another street remembering.

Imbue

I’m never not looking or waiting for you:

Bold crickets serenade the watching moon,

And I think of you.

Gentle breezes lift tiny curls on my crown,

And I feel your understanding touch.

The smell of the first heavy raindrops from a frantic summer storm,

And I taste the charged flavor of you.

You dance with all my unseen senses through nature,

And instinctively I open my lungs, my mind, and my heart.

Absorbing the tenderness of my emotion,

Swallowing your sentiment.

I no longer curse the subtle connections,

That tether us, not allowing desuetude of soul.

Come to me my love:

In animal song, in playful breeze and in savory rolling thunder.

Breathe into me inspiration.

Evoke and awaken forgotten connection,

Submerge me away with abstract hope ever so gently.

Believe.

The warmth of the sun holds the golden glitter of our hearts,

That innocent children delight and color their worlds in.

Entreat

He spoke my name in whispers,

With a simple blistering kiss.

Etching my soul to yearn,

Reaching our forgotten reminisce.

Eloquent of humanity,

Recognition of his blood.

Lip upon lip:

I knew it was him, the one that I loved.

Come to me, dream darling

Cross the bridge and awake!

Reunited incarnated souls;

We will save the world from hate.

Sacrifice

They come arching across night skies

With their trails of glitter

Following behind

And under breath

They whistle our love song sweet

They take cue

So we might dance

On their borrowed time

And dream

Of arms meant to hold us

And of hearts meant to beat

Butterflies

They do it all for our love

Delighted they grin at me

And wink in merry mischief

And I comprehend

In those silent gazes

While throwing wishes

The stars are in sparkle

For us they die

And happily fall from the sky

To give me a chance

Of dreams that come true

They unselfishly give their lives

All just so I can wish for you

Seminole Moon

Ol’ gypsy moon

Mother of the Seminole

Find my lost lover

Rescue my weary soul

Fill me with calming peace

Heal me from the hate

Give my lover courage

Let your glow illuminate

Two lives separated

But connected by your tide

Hear my pleading prayer, ol’ moon

Bring me back to life

Pull his heart closer

Remind him of my love

Give him my many kisses

Blown to you up above

Ol’ gypsy moon

Send my lover back my way

My only wish tonight

Is bring him back to stay

Ol’ gypsy moon

Wipe my tears away

Reunite what’s been lost

I can’t live without him another day.

My Song

Even though we are far apart

You are the song that keeps singing inside my heart

A complex aria of perfect melody

Sings to my soul of our fated destiny

My heart was born beating along to your tune

Captivating me by the seductive light of the river moon

Singing me lullabies you help me sleep

Until your return, I will love you deep

Sing to me in dreams and hold to my hand

Keeping me safe without you, in this heart lonely land

Compass

Cats bark secrets

At hidden new moons

Bringing back memories

Always gone too soon

Senior’s first word

Beginning at the end

Hangs white poignant stars

To midnight’s curtains thinned

Unicorn knelling loudly

In prayer, just out of sight

Guarding suns treasured magic

For dreams to take flight

The world keeps spinning dizzy

Turning my square chaos around

Searching for you, comes empty

My heart pleads to be found

But still, I hear your voice

Compass, introduced at our birth

Anchoring connate knowledge

You….

are my true magnetic north

I Can Still

After all this time,

It is in the highest

Respect of regards

That I can still

Wonder at

Your fragile

Human beauty

And shield it

Protectively within

My wounded

But forever hopeful

heart.

It is there,

That I can still,

Remember

And

Wait for you.
