Filled wherein

Of haunted whispers

Of crashing waves

Shell twisting

Tight swirls

Housing emotions

Of churning memories

Losing me at sea…

Of tan lined love

Of belonging only to you.

I sit sunbathe

Tumbled worn smooth

Now on distant sandy shores.

In salty stillnesses

Remaining in your wake.

Wistfully thrown aside

In glass

Corked tight

Into the turbulent,

Surf of life.

A vacant shell.

Waiting to be collected.

Sad, Poignant. Thank you, as a long-distance lover I needed to hear this today. Kudos ❤
