And it Softens

You might think I hate you

You might think my tears

Are good night prayers

It is true, I terribly miss you

But what you taught

Was not to be so scared

I embrace the child you awakened

Feel the joy of loving free

From all hatred

You so tenderly

It all from me

My heart is not bitter

It is wiser

Growing softer

With more love

You achieved greatness

Made me stronger

How love

Heals with belief

Your lost love

Keeps me hoping

That you

Return to me

It’s not for us to pity or judge how another loves, but learn for ourselves what makes us better for that person and the world. We do not always understand exactly how someone else feels on things they experience emotionally, but we can still respect and honor their souls growth in struggles the same as we should honor and respect them in times of success. 🙂

So true. Losing someone you love makes you so much stronger.
